Our story
We started with one rule and kept it.
Morag Sinclair spent twenty years writing energy policy and watching companies publish targets nobody had measured. In 2016 she started Overstory in a two-room office off the Canongate with one rule: the people who measure your footprint are the people who help you cut it.
That rule shaped everything since. We hire scientists, auditors and engineers rather than generalists. We price by the piece of work, not by the day. And we stay on the account until the number moves.
Sixty-two of our clients hold a validated target today. All of them started with a baseline they could defend.
